Our goal is to make moving as easy as possible for you. With this in mind,
bella Relocation offers this FREE valuable moving timeline:

SixWeeks Before the Move:
· Inventory all of the items you want to move.
· Garage Sale.
· Moving Companies estimates
· See if your new employer is covering any moving expenses.
· Notify bella Relocation where you are moving.

Four Weeks:
· Give Notice to current Landlord.
· Put valuables in a safe deposit box.
· Get Records of: prescriptions, eyeglasses, x-rays, children's schoolrecords, pets medical immunizations.
· Change of address notice to: post office, friends, family, magazines, credit cards, insurance companies (auto, health & home).
· Ask current medical professionals for possible referrals.
· Give notice of cancellation to: newspaper & utility companies.
· Drain gas, oil, propane from lawn mover, bar-b-que, etc.

One week before moving:
· Notify bella Relocation where you are moving.
· Locate new bank and order checks.
· Close current bank accounts.
· Service automobiles.
· Empty freezer.
· Traveler's checks for moving.
· Separate personal / family items for travel from items for the movers.
· Plan for special needs of pets / children.
· Remove valuables fro safe deposit box.

Moving Day:
· Be at the house the entire time the movers are there.
· Double check with moving company on delivery address and date.
· Carry valuables (jewelry and documents) personally.
· Make a final tour of you residence to make sure nothing is left behind.
· Disconnect all utilities.
· Lock all doors and windows.
· Leave old keys with appropriate person.

When you arrive:
· Make sure bella Relocation is listed as your referral source on your paperwork at your new home.
· Make sure bella Relocation has all your move-in information.
· Check on service of utilities (telephone, gas, electric, water, cable, trash removal).
· Check pilot lights on stove, hot water and furnace.
· Change your drivers license
· Register your vehicles within 5 days.
· Register children in school.
· Arrange for new medical professionals.
· Obtain phone numbers for emergencies.
· Register to vote.
